[TenTec] OMNI VI upgrades

I was number 86 for the option #3, So I went in on the second round....Ive
had it back now about a week....By now everyone has read the posts about
the performance after the upgrade...Its too bad about the UPS strike, Im
sure TT is frustrated, bottom line is there is nothing they can do about
it. TT promised the upgrade to be done in 7-10 days, mine was,but wait my
RS232 port wasnt working, I called TT and they said they were swamped and
it would be another 7-10 days for repairs, they fixed it in two days and
back it came.....I plugged it in and found that TT forgot to install the
two additional filters I ordered, I called Scott he said he would send them
right out, well he must have sent them overnight cuz they were here in
California in two days(usually takes 7 working days) I plugged them in and
Im a happy camper....My purpose in this post is to say that after 31 yrs of
hamming (CW only) and owning every brand of radios, TT is the best company
to deal with ,Those waiting for the upgrade and the strike to end, hang in
there its worth the wait!!
Gary, I know you read these posts, you didn't sent me the T-kit cat.:)
I had to stir something up :)
