Jim and TT gang;

FB on your new aquisition. I recently bought the Corsair 1 from TT and was
lucky enough to find the matching VFO just a week later. I think I have a
line on a matching power supply and hopefully I can "run into" another deal
for a KW tuner. I feel a prime CW station is taking shape.

My question is, how do you or how can you run QRO QSK. I think the C1 and
C2 are the same rig except for the color/keyer/audio filter. I have an old
homebrew amp that was scavanged from a Gonset 201. The chasis and cabinet
are almost 30 years old. However, it is fitted with two 572B's instead of
the 4 original 811's. The bias and antenna change over have their own
relays to switch. Very clunky to say the least but the amp easily puts out
500W with only about 30-35w of drive. My immediate problem (besides the
kerchunking) is that there is only a 120VAC relay line to key the amp. Can
anybody point me in a direction to add QSK or switch the line. Right now I
switch the amp with a hand switch (not keeping within QSK standards for
sure). The amp relay in the Corsair has contacts with one side at ground
potential.

This is my first amp...got it from a fellow ham at work but he's a SSB op
and engineered the amp but not much help when it comes to QSK CW. I'm
currently an apprentice in the high voltage industry so I feel confident
with working around the amp circuit and aware of the lethal hazards.

Any direction would be appreciated. I think this would be a good project
with the right guidance. BTW the Corsair 1 is a real treat on CW with my
Vibroplex bug!
