<SNIP>
My long time KW tuner is a T-match with a gear driven turns counter on the
variable inductor and National Velvet verniers on the CAPS.
I use it with a beam, G5RV and a vertical, on 160-10M
The settings for each band (CW & Fone) and Antenna are PRINTED on the front
panel. To change bands I just set the dials accordingly and transmit. Only
during severe weather conditions ( or a new antenna) do I have to adjust the
tuner.
There are many reasons for this, but the use of good solid components and
excellent mechanics add the the "resetability" of the tuner.
