Alain,

You have at least two options.  

You can get a Ten Tec model 217, 500 hz, 8 pole, 9MHz, ladder filer and
solder it in place of the stock 2.4 KHz 4 pole filter.  The short side
to this is that you then cannot put the rig on SSB again.  I suppose
some sort of diode switching arrangement could be developed so you could
leave both filters in the rig and switch them in and out.

An easier way is to get the CW filter which was designed for the rig. 
It simply plugs into the accessory socket on the back.  While it's an
audio filter, it is inserted in the AGC loop (audio derived AGC) and is
very effective.  You see these CW filters for the Argonauts for sale
from time to time on this reflector.
