While the Scout is now discontinued, we will continue to manufacture
and sell Scout band modules at least through the end of 2002. The
296 mobile bracket and 297 noise blanker are 'remaining stock only'
and will be discontinued as soon as inventory is gone.

Thanks to everyone who bought and used the Scout during the eight
year run it was available. The Scout was the most popular transceiver
Ten-Tec ever manufactured, but in the last 18 months or so our sales
had dropped off and we didn't feel we could continue ordering
parts in production quantity. No replacement transceiver is planned.
