Such fans supposedly are lifetime lubricated. Some fans if of the box, or " muffin" type, allow you to apply a heat gun to the label on the impeller. Underneath will have an accessible bearing, and some Triflow sprayed in there will extend the life of the fan when they start to get more noisy after two years. Replacement fans should always be the ball bearing type for longest life. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
