Having had both I'd opt ( and did) for another Kachina...Peg is a nice radio
for the $$ for casual operating but the Kachina is a serious machine and
I've had most everything in the high end radio dept. Service & parts could
be a problem with the Kachina in the long term however. Wish someone would
come up with a jazzier GUI for the Kachina too.Performance is excellent-RX
is as good as anything I've had on the desk. Used both radios seem to be
selling for abt the same $$ now. I'm sure this will start the flames-that's
OK as it's abt 10 degrees here in the Rust Belt !!...73, Brian K3USC
