[TenTec] Scout headphones

I need to address the problem of the high volume and the whine in the 
headsets (even at low settings). I remember somewhere a discussion about 
using higher impedance headsets or using a transformer for 8-to-600 match. I 
think there were a few other suggestions. Can someone let me know what is a 
good solution that work out for you?---
