Found a hand drawn schematic at http://www.qsl.net/dk3red/mfj259b-sch.jpg.
But still have no time to fool with it. But do see how to make it do what I want if I get back to it. What I need is to have driven from an external precise signal source to measure SWR of a very high Q circuit ( klystron buncher) at around 90 MHz. The Q of the resonator is over 1000 which does not work very well with the drifty variable oscillator in the antenna analyzer. But I can still use my HP RF impedance meter when I need to make these measurements.

Anyone needing a schematic for their MFJ259 should try a Google search on mfj259.zip

Of course, a tweezers and microscope would be really helpful in attempting repairs (not to mention a good source for oddball SMDs...). I gave up and sent mine back instead.

For calibration info, see Tom Rauch's web pages (w8ji.com).
