Awhile back I bough some Motorola moble speakers from Hosfelt Electronics. They sound great with my Ten-tec gear and they were only about $14 each.

For fun and not much $ try using a KLH model 979B indoor/outdoor speaker. They come in pairs and are rated at 4-6 ohms. I use one with my Argosy II and it works great...low distortion...probably better than the speaker in the 960 power supply that I used with a Corsair II. 4-6 Ohms is the key. Have not found 8 ohm speakers working well with earlier Ten Tec rigs.

$120 for a speaker in a box?! Yikes! I thought the
accessory speakers in pretty cabinets that match the radio
were expensive!

Hmmmm ... They've raised the price. Used to be $99.
