[TenTec] Orion I display issue

Hi,

The display on my Orion I fades away when I transmit. It is so washed
out there is nothing on the screen.  This occurs with a dummy load also.
I did a master reset and when the screem came up it was also washed out
so that reading menu items is almost impossible. 
Any one have an idea before I call Sevierville?
