Indeed Barry is right on. The 1.8 khz roofing filter coupled with  1300-1500 
hz BW slices away at the contest qrm on even the crowded 20M band!  Best I 
ever used as well.

I often go down as low as 1350hz bandwidth on  crowded bands, along
with PBT in the range of +350-500 hz.  The Orion  is the best ssb
contesting rig I've ever used, even though it's not a mode  I favor.
