Feeling pleased with myself! I rebuilt the PTO on the "new to me"
bargain Corsair II this morning. It's quicker each time I do it, and
this one is now silky smooth with no slipping.
For anyone interested, Ten Tec now include the black plastic rear retainer as part of the kit; my previous two rebuild kits didn't include it, and the instructions don't refer to it, but it's there. I ended up putting 3 washers under each side of the retainer again to get the "feel" I wanted. Just when I'm getting good at the rebuilds I've no more to do - life's like that :) 73, Steve G3TXQ |
