I think I put one in the Corsair II but I've since lost it and cannot tell
you. The new speaker with the other rigs I mentioned mounts inside the
cabinet and the mounting holes mate up with the screw holes in the square
external cover - best I remember from 2003. I put them in at the suggestion
of a fellow on this reflector who said they were of stouter quality and
improved the sound of the rig and they surely did do that and were a perfect
fit..

Mike, the Jameco speaker actually screws right in where the old Corsair II
speaker was without modification/drilling/adapting? If so, that's
amazing.

OK. Here's the skinny on the Jameco speakers, straight from a Jameco
rep's
mouth. The model 99995 which I purchased six of back in 2003 has been
replaced by the Jameco model 99996. The only difference between the older
and newer models is that the 99996 now available is "RoHS compliant,"
which
means that it is free of lead (for any of you speaker eaters). I can now
heartily recommend the Jameco model 99996 speaker as a direct replacement
for the original internal speakers in older Ten-Tec rigs. I have put them
in Tritons, Omni-C's, 580 Deltas and a Corsair II.

Sorry for the confusion but the 5 did look exactly like a 6 on my speaker.
