Thanks for the tips. I didn't know the ARRL would help with non-ham generated 
EMI. Thought they would only assist in resolving issues of complaints of 
ham-generated EMI.

  I found poor soldering and a leaky electrolytic
  capacitor.

  Contact ARRL about the power line noise, worked for me!
