Barry, I have seen others refer to using N8VB's vCom, or another one com0com. We used com0com internally when doing initial HRD/N4PY/LP-PAN testing before they could link directly through N4PY. com0com is on sourceforge. http://com0com.sourceforge.net/ It is just a com port redirector/linker, so if it needs knowledge of the end point, e.g. that it is an Orion and it needs Orion protocol, well, it ain't gonna work.
