The days of Ten Tec factory service fixing any problem that comes up on every
model they made from the beginning are coming to an end. I was always greatly
surprised at what they actually had in stock when I needed something. Yet, an
effective home solution on most everything was tried first. That habit helps
further on down the line when the support is no longer there. I have had my
chance at every radio I ever wanted and this OMNI VI+ with Inrads tops them
all. Corsair 2 with DDS and Inrads just as good for a rig that does not
interface with the computer. I keep a spare encoder for the OMNI and a spare
display board replacement for the Corsair.

Now you tell me... <g> Seriously, when I found mine was cracked, I just ordered
a new one from Ten
