That's odd - I don't ever remember hearing clicks on W1AW's CW signal from
the Omni VI.  I remember the microchirp only.  Is my memory going already?!

Some years back W1AW was using an Omni 6 for transmissions on 1820khz
and the clicks were awful.  There was a modification created for the 
radio which fixed the problem, but I don't know if and where it was 
published.
