Pretty much.

C'mon people, if you're going to pull a Poisson d'Avril hoax or spoof, put
some thought into it!

There's one going on... well, on the web somewhere, it's not my hoax to give
up (yet)... that suckered a lot of people, because it was well planned, well
done, and JUST inside the realm before crossing the too-good-to-be-true
line.  That's the way to do it!
