[TenTec] Argosy 525D filters not working

Are  there instructions somewhere for installation of accessory filters, noise 
blanker etc ?I removed some crystal filters from one 525D to another, now the 
one with only the 217 and 220 modules remaining goes silent when I press the 
Xtal switch in. When I push Xtal switch out the receiver audio comes back to
