Hello fellow topbanders;
I have just received my new vanity callsign. The new
call is K0CKD (ex N7CKD and WB9YTT). My new email address is
as follows:
K0CKD.ennis@mcleodusa.net
One additional question for anyone who has info. I am using
a 60 foot center loaded SWA antenna. It is fed with 75 ohm
coaxial cable and the transformers have been wound with that
impedance match in mind from Vic's SWA handbooks. However,
I can't seem to find the information concerning the end
transformers at each end of the two-wire affair. My question
is this-----"Do these end transformers have to be wound with
the same turns ratio as the center output impedance or
do they get an entirely different set of turns? Please reply
directly to my email address.
I am currently using 10 turns top and 10 turns bottom with a
center tap for the two at the center of the antenna. This is
for the 75 ohm output. I'm looking for the number of turns
on each end of the two-wire antenna.
Thanks de K0CKDennis
