Hi friends,
I spoke to Carl, G4VFU, on "real high band 10M" today. He is on a well
deserved break in the UK. Carl had ask me to repeat some of the info which he
has already forwarded to the ARRL and many operators about his VP8 operation.
Apparently, there is some confusion and this EMail will hopefully help to
provide more info.
When Carl is operating as VP8/G4VFU/mm , he is operating from the vessel.
When Carl is operating as VP8CJZ, his new call, he is "on shore and ground".
Carl will be again on the air (80M and 160M), beginning Sept 20th to 23rd, as
VP8CJZ. Following that he will be /mm again and will announce his (when on
board / when on land) schedule as it becomes available.
