Meanook data for K-values in the last half of September is in and, as you
would expect, it is far from quiet, only two days (20th and 24th) with
K-sums in single digits.
About 10% of the 3-hour periods had K=-values opf 5 or greater, with the
most disturbed days being the 23rd, 26th and 29th. Those would have beern
days of greater auroral absorption and anomalous refraction for signals
that got into auroral regions.
With those days in mind, another 27 days will give you an idea of what to
expect in the next solar rotation. But we're moving away from the
equinox; maybe things will quiet down.**
