9V1PC had a great signal on 80 meters this morning at around 13:00Z then
QSY'ed to 1.824.5MHz at around 13:45Z, 20minutes too late for us here in SE
Wyoming.Did anyone work Peter this morning from stateside on 160M???????
Of note, the recent Full Moon report in QST by W7DD proved 100 percent on
target...the night before and the night after had so so conditions but the
night of the full moon, 31 Oct 01/ 01 11 01, many in the midwest/west worked
TA3DD station just after sunset and several EU's until after their
sunrise.........there was a very noticable difference in the amount of DX
heard from out here in Wyoming as well to EU and then later to the PAC when I
compared my logs to the night before and after the evening of the full moon-
Amazing correlation as I expected the night before and after to be good as we
were close to a full moon but the effect really seemed to come out on THEE
night of the full moon- -
