G''day Topbanders!
Today I had my first different band split QSO with EA3JE working on
1830 and listening on 14033 KHz. May be it is the way when EA3JE are 599 on
all continents and don't heard anybody(here 20db over S9 usually)? It's
interesting what band QSO it is and which band will on his QSL card. I
think it's my 20m band QSO. Working in the air since 1978 I never had QSO
like that.
Now Iam running 10.0w with my FT1000MP. PA on GU74B is damaged, power
is SECRET(!) , because we have limit 10w(!) for extra category and 5w for
others on 1.8MHz in Russia. Ant's: sloping dipole, delta loop and
halfsloper 30m high.
Starting with millenium on topband from 01.01.01 I have new life in air.
DXCC: wkd 60? cfm 5. :o) Last days had QSO with N2NT, N1AC, W8JI(Tom,
you're stronges), VE1ZZ with 100w and Delta Loop. Good propogation!
Happy New Year!
73! Best regards,
RW3XX, op. Fanil "Fan"
