hello reflectees ! Despite auroral warnings and real high A + K numbers, topband was good for surprise again. The W1AW code transmissions were S 7 on 1818 this am in EU b4 0300 z .But no east coast stn was heard, i guess the numbers frm WWV left everybody in despair. At 0308z PY5EJ made a nice appearance with a 559 to 579 sig into EU, definitely the transequatorial path was not severely affected. But the mystery about the W1AW signal still remains ! 73 de wolf |
