Steve,
All the states were represented in ARRL160 last year, and were workable in Tn
without a Rx antenna (managed them all with a 72' vertical, base loaded and 100
watts, wish DXCC were as easy!) from Tn the toughest state seems to be KL7, you
should have a better shot at it. From here conditions were best during ARRL
160, versus Stew Perry and CQ 160. So if you can, get an antenna up sooner than
later.
