I will be putting up a beacon that runs during the dark hours that alternates
between 1800.5 and 1999.5 KHZ. It is running about 20 watts. The callsign
is K7RAT.
My match isn't the best at the higher frequency - so I would normally expect
the signal at the high frequency to be weaker all things being equal.
However, if you can hear the 1999.5 signal better - then for sure - it is
due to improved propagation.
