Currently using a 45' aluminum tube vert with 3X15' wire capacity hat. Have
about 20 random on-ground radials.

Feed point is 3' off ground and mount is a treated 5X5 post with PVC pipe
sleeving over Al tube.

Thinking about going to 4 1/4 wave elevated radials.

1. For 8' radial elevation is moving the feet point up to 8' a must or can i
"gullwing" them up?

2. Have found very little info on putting traps/coils in elevated radials to
make them better for 160/80.

3. Are folks commonly using pairs of radials cut for different points in the
band to achieve bandwidth broadening? Have seen only one publication
mentioning it. I do not wish to use relays in the radials.
