Has anyone tried feeding guys that were insulated from the tower at the top
and grounded at the bottom?

A friend of mine W0UCE has a 90 foot 45G which will have a 2 ele 40 hygain
and 14 ele hygain log per. on top. He has 2 sets of guys (per Rohn)
attached to the tower and insulated at the top from the tower. I was
thinking that he could feed the guys at the top of his tower with shield
back to his tower (which is also grounded at the bottom) and connect the
center conductor through a matching network to the guys through a 3 way
remote switch box. He was also thinking of shunt feeding the tower on 160.
Top guys are about 85 foot long each.
Thanks!!
