Scaffolding companies carry 20 foot 2" O.D. aluminum scaffold tubing.
It has 1/4" thick walls plus two "ribs" inside for extra strength.
N5RP has two of them joined for a 40' boom for a three element 40 meter
beam and it has been up for years.
I have occasionally used them for gin poles.
