I received some dimensions for an XQ quad.
12el on 28ft boom for 50 MHz.
Claimed gain over 18dBd wow
Now the question:
Anyone able to do a computer simulation on it...?
My 2 rough calculations show an gain of just over 16dBI ....!!!!!
Here are the dimensions
REFLECTOR 502"
Driven el 478"
dir 1 454"
dir 2 438"
dir 3 426"
all other dir 411"
spacing is 30" for all loops

My remarks: design based on equal spacing (vy old)
to many elements on boom, 7 or 8 would be better fer this
boom lenght
Gain abt 16.4 dBi max.
