Far too much is being made of this. 9N can be worked any day of the
week on 20 meter SSB. CW is rarer, but not impossible. No RTTY for
several years since the German operation. A 5 lander made 2 or 3 QSO's
last year on RTTY but that really did not count.
Go and have fun, do not worry about the critisim.
