Couple of the guys have mentioned I might add some info to the QTH for
sale message.
The home is located in Cobb County, GA with a mailing address of Powder
Springs, GA. This location is about 20 miles NNW of the center of
Atlanta, or about 7 miles WSW frm Marietta, GA.
Contrary to Stu, WA2MOE, it is not the resting place of Grant's Tomb,
Thomas Jefferson, or others. The FCC monitor used to be about 3 miles
away, but is shut down now.
BTW, in winter, with the trees bare of leaves, you can see Kennesaw
mountain from the sunroom. From the top of the 105' tower, you can
see lights of downtown Atlanta.
Cobb County has a sales tax of 5%, as compared to 7% for the majority
of the metro area, and is very conservative.
