Yes. QST did a "review" several years ago. They published an X-ray
photograph, as they couldn't get the unit open, either.
Turns out, this thing is just a big dummy load. There's nothing but a
huge resistor and some other unrelated components inside.
Maxcomm sold this fraud for over $250 a pop. QST refused to take their
ads. 73 and perhaps CQ ran their ads for some time.
