The Harken marine-grade snatch block rated at 2,250lb
safe working load is $168 list. I don't know what you
bought, but maybe there's an extra "0" in the working load.
The Harken blocks that have 1-1/2" sheaves are rated
around 300lb safe working load, and are around $12 list.
