Wayne,
There was a recent write-up (& a good one too!)
on replacing cables on a Wilson 77 footer
on TowerTalk. Probably in archives & could
be read with the search engine?
I think the same would apply to the 61.

I recently came into a Wilson MT-61 three-section rotating
mast. It's in good condition (i.e., the sections telescope
freely and the thrust bearing that supports the entire mast
turns freely). However, the raising cable is broken inside
the mast (between the two largest sections).

Does anyone have any suggestions for replacing this cable?
It appears that the top collar on each section should come
off if the screws are removed, but the collars on this one
only move a little. Or is there another trick to threading
a new cable down between sections?

I have the original installation manual, but it says nothing
about how to replace the raising cables.

Thanks and 73,

Wayne, N6NB
