David, it could be done, but is VERY impractical, since to get the
benefit of the ladder line, it needs to be in air, isolated - that is,
spiraled and suspended in the center of a waterproof tube 5 or 6 inches
ID if it is run underground. That would make a buriable hardline a
cheaper line, probably.
If you want the benefit of the low loss and low price, run it in the air,
above ground.
