However .... your signal will have some radiation below 7.9 degrees, and it
will be either reflected or refracted in ways that may either add or
subtract.  The right way to assess this is to use YTAD (free from ARRL FTP)
or TA (from K6STI).  Simple trig doesn't cut it.
