Gerald's right - the fiberglass things are about the same price as Philly.
They also cannot be coiled or otherwise size-compressed.  My guess is the
local tower supplier gets them by truck, and they were a lot of fun to get
home draped over the roof of my pickup.  If I had it to do over again, I'd
use Philly.

I'm now looking at a second tribander below the first, and modeling shows
that the grounded guy wire below the fiberglass messes up the pattern
terribly, so a first step  will be to go to all-Philly top guys (down to
the last 15 feet or so, anyhow) and move the ones with the fiberglass
insulators down to the middle guy station.  It'll be interesting to see
what this does to my 80-meter vertical parasitic array, because the model
says it induces lots of current in those top guys!
