Hello. I want to install a 1/4 wave vertical for 160 meters and was
wondering about the radial system. Is there any difference between radials
laying in the ground and a vertical with the feed point elevated 10 or 15
feet and the radials sloping down to ground level? Can I use less radials
with the former configuration? Thanks for any help.
