Hey 'Talkers,
I'm looking for suggestions on how to attach 2" wide copper strip to a 5/8"
ground rod. It's easy to wrap it around a leg of 25G and secure with SS
hose clamps, but this method doesn't work very good with the tight radius of
a ground rod. Another method tried was to fold the end into an arrowhead and
slide it as deep as possible into a ground clamp. This works well except
the cross section is a fraction of the original at the clamp. Polyphaser
makes something, but I'd like to homebrew it if possible. Does anyone use
flat stock for tower grounding, and if so, I'd appreciate ideas on how you
secured it to the rod.
Thanks, Tom K3GM
