Having replaced the starting capacitor with another one from a second hand
hygain control box (for the CD-45-II) I still cant turn the rotor.
I may suspect it is so corroded that it is stuck as the strange hum i get when
trowing the brake release and trying to turn sound like it is struggling. The
hum nose is like from a loaded transformer.
I guess there is no way around parting the rotator even though it requires some
rigid force.
