Very simply done.  Go to your local home improvement store and purchase a
tube of Noalox.  It's designed specifically for this type application.  It
prevents the metal migration and corrosion problems.  Gob up the tower and
use a brass pipe clamp - that's what I did.  And the stuff stays on through
the weather - it really penetrates the galvanized coating.  I put mine on
last fall and I can still see it on the tower legs.  I also used this in
most of my ground wire to ground rod connections as well to improve
conductivity.
