Hello all
After a long drawn out process I have received permission from the adjacent
property owner
to allow me to install one or more wire antennas over an unused abandoned
parking area.
The area is fenced-in and has trees around the fence line and a couple unused
wooden light poles.
My plan was to install a loop for 80m but after walking the fenceline I have
enough room for a 160m loop.
Even in the antenna handbook there was no mention of a 160m loop. Is that too
large for a new loop
builder to tackle of would it even pay off. This is new for me in several
ways. Working with loops and having
enough room to put one up. My 75m dipole had to be kinked to fit the backyard.
I just need some advice from someone who knows from experience.
Thanks
JerryC
