I want to assure you that it was worth every cent to get the CD ROM set from
ARRL.

I do have an almost complete set of HR (missing maybe one or two initial
issues), I have promised that to another ham. I acquired the CD-ROM's as a
"high density", low mass replacement. With the included indexing it makes
browsing the old issues a pleasure and shelf storage and weight no longer an
issue. I hope that you find the 'pennies' to acquire your very own set -- I
don't think you will be disappointed.
