I actually made a prototype relay and sent it to RSC, and
they copied it for Ameritron for production. That was about
1983 or 1984. Hard to believe 20 years goes by so fast. The
RCS8V is flat to over 200 MHz using that relay and board
layout.

If you call both DXE or Ameritron and order relays they use,
it will save you a great deal of grief picking a high
isolation relay. DXE has a custom relay that is HUGE. It'll
handle 15kW, so it can actually take some kilowatt hot
switching or "no antenna" mistakes.
