Alan,
I installed one of the US Towers 70 foot tubular towers. It is fine for a
little pistol such as myself. I can work on this thing without climbing
anything higher than a ladder.
I did have some problems initially and the support is not great and the
documentation is really underwhelming but I recommend you call the folks in
the Kansas location for better support when you need it. My tower failed
recently as I lowered it in the wind and it would no longer raise from the
20 foot position up to 70 feet. I was unable to get any help from the folks
in Woodlake, CA so I came to this reflector looking for help. Right after
that, I received a call from the folks in Lincoln, KS offering to replace my
tower! Took a while but one day a gentleman showed up in my driveway one
evening with a new tower!
I couldn't be more thrilled. Hats off to Shana and Jody of US Tower in
Lawrence. This was an expensive tower project so I was really pleased with
US Tower's offer to replace mine. I could have put up some Rohn a lot
cheaper. I really like this tower. I can raise and lower it from inside the
shack! Just wish the company had it together a little better on
