Both designs should be fed with open-wire line, though a Sterba  
curtain MAY be fed at a corner point or the center of any section, but  
this will distort the pattern slightly.

Find a copy of the ARRL Handbook prior to 1990.  Most of these have a  
good discussion of multi-element wire arrays.
