Could someone provide or direct me to the instructions on the correct
use of a gin pole having a single clamp?
I am using the WB0W "GP2HD Closed" device. ( See

I want to know the proper positioning of the clamp in relation to the
length of pole (12') and how far down from the top of the tower.
Which direction the pulley should be facing? (in towards the center of
the tower, etc.)
What method is best for raising the pole and then the clamp up the
tower as you build? How do you secure the tube while moving the clamp
up?
During my low to ground learning experiments I put a loop of rope
around the tower and tube to keep it from toppling over while I fumble
with the bottom end.
Any advice would be appreciated.
